Gina Reiss, Principal, is a social entrepreneur and executive leader dedicated to gender and racial justice including global women’s and LGBTQ+ rights, combating sex and labor trafficking; alleviating health disparities among displaced populations and BIPOC communities. She has worked across many cultures, managed diverse teams in the US, Southeast Asia and East Africa. Gina’s strengths are creating external partnerships; managing and mentoring global teams; and building boards. She has built effective partnerships with high-net-worth donors, major foundations, UN agencies, community based organizations and Fortune 500 corporations. She has led major issue-based advocacy campaigns and public policy efforts on Capitol Hill. She is the founding Director of the Girl Up Campaign at the United Nations Foundation and serves as chair of the board at Survivor Alliance. Fast Company selected Ms. Reiss among their 2012 “League of Extraordinary Women.”
Anne Reiss, Principal, is a seasoned philanthropic advisor and fundraising professional who works in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. She is a highly motivated, business-minded individual who has worked successfully with legacy organizations, Fortune 500 companies, venture capitalists, and high-net-worth individuals. Anne’s strength is building lasting alliances and partnerships with major donors, senior staff, and volunteer leaders. Her expertise includes providing counsel to campaign leadership, executing campaign plans, and major gift fundraising. She brings experience working with a diverse range of sectors including global health, education, women and girls, LGBTQ+, social justice, the arts, and workplace development. She was honored to play an instrumental role with the following clients: The National 9/11 Memorial & Museum and the Giving Pledge with the Gates Foundation. Anne is a big sister with Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
Maura Donlan, Senior Strategist, brings over three decades of expertise in international development, advocacy, global philanthropy, and strategic communications. As the former Chief Advocacy & Partnerships Officer at Adeso, a Nairobi-based civil society organization, she spearheaded initiatives to advance locally-led development and transform traditional aid and philanthropy models. Prior to Adeso, Maura served as Director of Advocacy & Effective Social Investing at the Chandler Foundation, where she developed strategies to encourage philanthropists to embrace systems change, justice, and equity in their giving. She also served as Editor-in-Chief of Social Investor Magazine, an award-winning publication that challenges ultra-high-net-wealth philanthropists to pursue more strategic and impactful grantmaking. Maura has extensive experience iniInternational development, including working at the United Nations, National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, and UN Foundation. She managed philanthropy and social enterprise initiatives for Ted Turner's family office for seven years, and held leadership positions at gmmb+, Omidyar Network, Milken Institute, and the Chandler Foundation
Alissa Jordan, Senior Researcher, is a strategic leader with over a decade of experience driving high-impact initiatives across global and domestic contexts. She is described by those who know her best as a highly adaptable, discerning advisor with deep empathy and an unwavering drive for justice. She brings expertise in executive support, strategic partnerships, cross-functional project management, and portfolio development. Known for balancing big-picture thinking with tactical execution, Alissa excels at aligning teams, managing priorities, and advancing mission-driven goals. Her background includes leading multi-stakeholder projects, championing change initiatives, securing funding, and compelling storytelling. She finds joy in team collaboration, learning and cycling. She proudly holds a Master’s in Global Business Administration (MBA) from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and is passionate about gender equality and racial justice.
Allie Gardner, Communications Consultant, supports nonprofits and impact-driven small businesses in building effective, mission-aligned communications strategies by designing and delivering engaging websites, brand kits, collateral, proposals, social media assets, and more. Allie presently serves as Senior Manager for Impact Capacity Building at United Way Worldwide, where she leads trainings, communities of practice, and tools to support equitable community change across United Way’s core impact areas: Financial Security, Youth Opportunity, Healthy Community, and Community Resiliency. She also leads the organization’s anti-human trafficking portfolio, advancing international outreach, awareness, and education efforts. Her previous roles include positions at GoodWeave International and Free the Slaves, where she led global campaigns and programs to combat child, forced, and bonded labor. In her free time, Allie serves on advisory boards for Survivor Alliance, The Fashion Connection, and Free as a Human.
